Paddle Big Creek near the National Wildlife Area during the high point of the bird migration and see lots of wildlife from songbirds, sandhill cranes and herons to butterflies and turtles!

Knowledgable canoe guides from Grand Experiences, including resident bird expert Darren Harding the son of our special guest, will take us along Big Creek on a three-hour paddle.

After a gourmet lunch, we will tour the world-famous Bird Studies Canada site with special guest, former president of Society of Canadian Ornithologists. We will also wrap-up with a wonderful tour of the Rambling Roads microbrewery.

Enjoy other optional local highlights including Port Dover, Long Point Provincial Park, Southwold prehistoric site, or enjoy the Festival by the Bay in Norfolk County or the Bonniheath estate lavender farm!!

The canoe day, including lunch and canoe rental and our two tours is available for $100 per person, you’ll also receive a $50 charitable tax receipt!

All proceeds of this year’s Quetico Foundation Big Creek canoe day will benefit the Quetico Foundation Student Summer program!
